WELCOME

John Winthrop Austin was a unique soul who was considered a friend by everyone he met. His sweetness of spirit was recognized on a soul level.

This site is a way his friends across the land can connect in celebrating his life, one that was so strong that virtually everyone who has heard of his passing has felt difficulty accepting it.

John cared so much for this world and for this planet that we can only assume he had higher work to do from a different place.

We know that from his new place of peace, free of all limitations, he is continuing on with his amazing ability to connect people and to make people feel loved. And we can rejoice in that.

Memorial services were held at Renaissance Unity in Warren, Michigan, on Sunday, December 12, and at Unity of Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama, on Monday, December 27. John's ashes were spread in the east fork of the Little River in Mentone, Alabama, on New Year's Day.

Most of us find ourselves in a completely staggering state of silence at the loss of John Austin. Many of the same sentiments have been heard:"I just cannot wrap my mind around this." This is the consensus of the loss of John Austin, whose life has touched such a variety of people all over the country.

It is stunning how the spiritual community of authors and friends have come together to mourn and honor John Austin's life. His touch was, and still is, far reaching.

This website is a just a small dedication to John, with photos taken of him from years ago to the most recent from November 5-7, 2004 at the Celebrate Your Life conference in Sedona, along with messages posted from those who adore and love him. John's brilliance is evident by the outpouring of love written on the following pages.

May we all find comfort from one another.

With Peace,
Liz Dawn
